STRUCTURE OF PHRASEOLOGY AND CONDITION OF PHRASEOLOGICAL SYSTEM
Phraseology is considered as a set of phrases characteristic of language, inherent in the plane of synchrony, stable and reproducible in speech. The phraseological system, the state of phraseology, is subject to certain factors. In accordance with these factors, the phraseology of the Russian language is formed, exists in use and changes. The belonging of phrases to the field of phraseology, the formation of a phraseological unit as a linguistic unit of one type or another is determined by the prospects of the internal form and speech capabilities and directions of semantic transformation, just as they determine lexical-semantic processes of the opposite direction. The phraseology of the modern Russian
language is analyzed. The research was carried out by observation method, description method, accumulation of material, continuous sampling method, statistical analysis of relevant examples, lexical-semantic analysis and component analysis of semantics. The composition and semantics of phraseological units, lexical-semantic connections and relationships of phraseological units are studied. Various changes occurring in the composition and content of the phraseology of the modern Russian language are identified: the obsolescence of phraseological units, the disappearance of phraseological
expressions from the language system, changes in the meanings of phraseological units, changes in the structure of phraseological units, changes in the stylistic attribution and stylistic marking of phraseological units, the formation and functioning of new phraseological units, their main semantic and structural types, their stylistic affiliation and emotionalexpressive characteristics. Phraseology is studied in the context of functioning and speech influence. The very belonging of certain phrases to phraseology is qualified. From the mere fact that a phrase includes two significant words, one of which has a free meaning and the other has a bound meaning, it does not follow that such a phrase is a phraseological unit. The construction and use of such a phrase is determined by the compatibility of the input words, which is very narrow for one of them. For this reason, in such a phrase, there is no holistic and general, single meaning that would be difficult
to derive from the meanings of the forming parts. These lexico-semantic parameters determine and limit the composition of the phraseology of the Russian language.
